My psychotherapy practice is specialized in working with adults, older adults, and couples, who are seeking psychological help to deal with emotional challenges. These can include depression, anxiety, trauma and its aftermath, grief, bereavement and loss, living with cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and aging.
Relational psychotherapy - a genuine relationship between you and I - can offer a path to understanding how your particular concerns impact the aspects of relating to yourself self, others, and the world. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, the effects of trauma, grief, or the complex emotions surrounding aging, end-of-life, Parkinson’s disease, or cancer, there is always an underlying context present in your situation.
If you seek to confront the myriad concerns related to living with any of these challenging situations, I will do that with you by exploring your particular situation and its inherent concerns. Concerns might include fear, dread, anxiety, difficult decision-making, depression, and despair.
Unexpressed emotional pain finds its way in and lodges in the mind, the body, and the soul. To untangle your emotional pain, we will work to explore the ways it’s held and how it informs your relationship to yourself and others.
